Our Story

Hello And Welcome To Smile Big Clothing

My name is Chance Pronschinske, and I am the proud founder of Smile Big Clothing Co. Throughout my life, I have striven to be an optimist. But everybody knows that it is simply impossible to be happy all of the time. We all experience life events that generate negative feelings. However, there are ways to brighten each day that we are blessed to live. I’d like to share a brief inside look at how Smile Big began and why this brand is special to my family and me.

Our Purpose

The creation of the Smile Big brand was quite simple. Every day, week, month, and year, there are both good and bad times. In 2015 & 2016, I began sensing the bad times were outnumbering the good times. There were many significant changes within a short period of time for my family and me. Within a one-year span, I suddenly and unexpectedly lost one of my aunts whom I loved very much, my parents divorced, and I became the only child at home as my two older brothers left for college. I was beginning to have more bad days than good days. At times, I even felt hopeless. So, I wanted to create a sense of optimism and peace for myself and others facing life challenges.

Clothing is arguably one of the most powerful vehicles to carry a message and mission, and being extremely passionate about my mission allowed me to take my mind off of the negative experiences I was going through. The smiley print on our Every Day T’s was the first SB design in 2017. Additional designs blossomed into a wider variety of products, bringing even more local support. Creating comfortable products bearing inspirational messages was fulfilling, and seeing the impact it had on those who wore Smile Big clothing was an incredible honor. Fast forward to today, we have Smile Big supporters in nearly all 50 states. The more we grow, the more of a difference we can make. We could not be more thankful for our Smile Big Family and look forward to continuing our journey with you.
